BENEFITS OF UPGRADING YOUR LEGACY KIT:- Our metallurgy and manufacturing methods have come a long way since the release of our V1 kit. You will receive parts that are harder, more precise, have better anti-resonance and finish.
- The beautiful engine-turned and precision-flat finish of your kit will no longer be covered up by an unsightly galvanized bracket. It gets discarded, and you see machined parts only. Your machine will have an even more professional, finished look.
- Precision CNC machined from billet metal, with even bigger machines this time, these parts pull the DRO closer to your planer, reducing the lever-arm effects. The rigidity increases beyond what the DRO is able to measure.
- The stock WR510 is installed with a spring that holds it in place using tension. Springs are wear items, easily damaged, and not repeatable. You will eliminate this spring and replace it with tank-like solid parts that will outlast your planer.
- You will only use the DRO display and the ruler for a very clean look. Robust installation, and easier maintenance is achieved. The Wixey finger hook, the backplate, and the side brackets, are eliminated – the dust that normally sticks between the wedges these parts form will fall out on its own, or easily brushed away. And calibrating the DRO becomes easier with one test cut instead of repeated attempts to line it up with the tray.
Optional Upgrade Pack for Legacy Precision DRO Mount Kits
EXISTING SOLUTIONS: You may return it in the unopened, un-mounted, and and unused form, for 15 days from purchase. Buyer pays return shipping. If the product was used at any capacity no refund is issued. We have some very fancy quality inspection tools here at the shop, we will know.
CUSTOM MACHINED SOLUTIONS: You can change your mind until machining begins, where we can refund you in full or make something else. Once machining has begun we will have assigned shop resources to you, and have lost the opportunity to accept other contracts, both in irreversible ways. From the moment machining has begun the work may not be stopped, may not be reversed, may not be modified, may not be canceled, and is no longer refundable. Parts machined to your very particular design specifications and cannot be sold to someone else which makes them not refundable. If parts are defective due to our fault we will make that right.
If your order is in stock it ships within 48 hours. If we have to machine it, you wait for your turn at the shop queue plus actual machining time. In either case, when your order ships, our server will automatically send you a tracking number. We ship packages via USPS, UPS, and FedEX depending on size and quantity. We use USPS for most shipping and our website is designed to quote you for USPS services. If you have a preference, please ask, and we will try to accommodate. We ship from Iowa, United States. We ship to all 50 states of USA and most addresses in Canada. We do not ship to other countries. If the parts are above a certain value they will ship insured and with signature requirement.
